Course description

It is just possible to move into a subsidised flat under particular conditions. Therefore, an application for registration should be sent to the Office for Housing and Migration.

As part of the processing of your application, the specific room requirement (principle: 1 space per person, a separate living-room is not supplied) and the urgency of the housing search will be determined. The urgency is categorised on the basis of a points table. Depending upon the level of income, registration is legitimate for an optimum of two years from the date of the decision.

During this duration, you can look for flats on SOWON and use. The five candidates with the greatest urgency will then get a composed deal of lodging (election) with the contact details of the property owners to see the lodging. The property owners then decide who gets the flat.

You can submit your application online on SOWON or using the paper kind. You can discover more details on online applications in the flyer "Online housing application" and in the explanatory video "Online housing application".

After registration (notice), you will be shown all available subsidised flats on SOWON that match your family. You can make an application for approximately 3 flats at the exact same time. You can discover an overview of the housing search via SOWON in the leaflet "Housing Search Online".

Munich Model flats are not provided on SOWON, however are designated straight by the landlords. You can find present housing deals on residential or commercial property websites such as ImmobilienScout24.
